Join us in fundraising for Buddy System MIA, a young non-profit fighting food insecurity across our Miami community. Buddy System MIA emphasizes art for social change and community organizing with the ultimate goal of creating lasting change by addressing local issues by the community, for the community.
The pieces have been generously donated by artists at the Fridge Art Fair and internationally renowned artist/Miami's favorite orange, Atomik. 100% of the proceeds raised from the "Atomik - Painted Refrigerator" and 50% of all other pieces will be donated to Buddy System MIA.
This year Fridge Art Fair is celebrating 10 years of the Fridge in Miami with The Rainbow Popsicle Edition at the Courtyard Miami Coconut Grove. The fair will open on December 6th, 6-10pm with The Grand Gala and Auction benefiting Buddy System MIA and will be open through Sunday, December 10th. The "little fair that could" first landed in Miami from New York’s Lower East Side in December of 2013. Since its inception in May 2013, Fridge Art Fair has presented concurrent with Frieze (yes, the name is a play on that week in New York City!) and Art Basel in Miami. Fridge gives an affordable platform to artists who want to exhibit during the big art weeks in NYC and Miami. Everyone is welcome to exhibit. Past fairs have included artists from all stages of their careers: established; mid-career; and emerging. We have lived up to our tagline, "Can you fit into the Fridge?”
