For Immediate Release:

Fridge Art Fair: Retooled: Reworked: Reborn: Dec 2018

The Velvet Rope: 1600: Joins Art Basel Miami Beach: Miami Week:

Fridge Art Fair is “A Not for Profit Art Fair” where due to the kindness of an Unnamed Donor there is not an exhibitor fee.

Fridge Art Fair is pleased to announce Fridge Art Fair: Retooled which has been Created to be an oasis of sensuality and soul, The Velvet Rope 1600 is a euphoric flashback to a period when an aristocracy of style was an art form of pure ecstasy. The era where fine art and the art of (night)life were crafted, refined and flirtatious. A time when pure sophistication was our Garden of Eden.

The essential core - soul if you will - of today’s mainstream art market and media are the curatorial focus of Fridge Art Fair: Retooled: Miami 2018. While the machine with all its parts hums in high gear at the seasonal crescendo surrounding Art Basel | Miami Beach, Fridge adopts a futurist POV in search of what history will deem, “The Ghost in the Machine.”

In pursuit of this vision, and in keeping with the Velvet Rope concept, exhibition in this edition is highly selective and by invitation only.

The main fair location will be provided for guests who RSVP by November 15, 2018, for as long as spaces are available.

Pop-ups & collaborations with our main sponsor, Langford Hotel by Eurostar Hotels will complement the main fair activities.

Although Fridge Art Fair and its affiliates have decided not to announce most of its Exhibitors and Special projects as the artwork speaks for itself. This regardless of labels/shape/size/color or price.

In order to remain in the state, “pure bliss” we have decided to announce a few special projects and exhibitors to help create the “pleasure principal” teaser we desire.

One of the Special projects is in partnership with New York Pet Fashion Show (http://www.newyorkpetfashionshow.com) where Eric Ginsburg creates visual canine masterpieces based upon such themes for this year’s show: Hollywood Dreams & From Hollywood to Bollywood &Who's been Good & Who's been Bad and more at the Langford Hotel Venue.
