Ayako Bando
Born and raised in the country, in the town of Tokushima in Japan. Ayako was blessed to be surrounded by the beauty of nature with its mountains, rivers, trees, and flowers. Nature has always played a very big part in her desire to paint, the sky, the trees, the earth, and elements of this sort.
Since she approaches her work from artistic concerns work is highly imaginative, unique, and sensitive. The processes involved in creating a painting are of great importance to her. She is highly responsive to the developing image, and always tries to let it guide the creative process. Her work develops in an uninhibited and organic manner. Her use of color, shape, and form combine to make beautiful compositions of stunning originality. She uses her knowledge and past experiences to create glorious paintings that reflect her interest in nature and movement.
She studied art in Osaka, London, Tokyo and New York.
Her work has been exhibited in various venues in the United States, Japan, Germany, and Italy.
