R. Kipp Miller
Kipp Miller
American Painter and Sculptor
(Born 1955 Mount Kisco, NY)
Forest floors, ocean shores, abandoned factories, railbeds, roadside ditches,
a village dump—these are the places that provide the wood, glass, stone,
iron and bone that comprise Kipp Miller’s creations.
Using only paint and “hand-powered” hand tools (if tools are used at all),
Miller works to give life’s forgotten fragments a new life. And when the
artist’s works are replicated as Giclée-method prints on Hahnemühle
Bamboo 290 paper, the original creations take on an entirely different
look—and life.
Galleries: Fridge Online, Maison 10 (New York, NY), The Art Source Fine Arts Gallery (Peterborough, NH).
