Eric Ginsburg
Fridge Founder/ Director/Curator

Eric Ginsburg is a contemporary artist renowned for his unique and soulful animal portraits and is best known for his painterly, expressive dog paintings. His artwork captures the personalities and charm of his subjects, often reflecting a deep emotional connection with the animals.

Ginsburg credits his success to patron and friend Sol LeWitt who commissioned works and served as a mentor, along with William Wegman, who served both as Eric's "pen pal" and as "kind of a hero."
Ginsburg's works are found in public and private collections around the world including: Herb & Dorthy Vogel Collection of the National Gallery of Art, Corrie Ten Boom Museum, New Britain Museum of American Art, The Cartin Collection, Cindy Sherman, Fred Dorfman, William Wegman, Agnes Gund, Paula Cooper, and the LeWitt Collection.
Eric is also the founder and co-director of Fridge Art Fair, which offers a more accessible platform for emerging and established artists and features a diverse range of art

David Craig Ellis
Co-Director/Curator
Since the early 90's, Ellis has been involved in the New York art scene. He has exhibited his work throughout the world and has work in many esteemed private and public collections. Ellis currently works out of his studio in Brooklyn. He is also the founder and director of Not Another Gallery! the location for this year's Mini-Fridge - Rainbow Cookie Edition.

David Waage
Co-Director/Curator
David Waage is from Fergus Falls Minnesota. He was educated at Fergus Falls Community College and California Lutheran University, where he studied photography under James Hugunin, who later taught at the Art Institute of Chicago. He also worked as a photographer in College Relations for Mary Hekhuis.
Waage obtained a Master’s Degree at The London Business School, and in 2000 founded a photography studio in New York with Carlmike Lagasca.
Working together and individually, Waage’s photographs were exhibited in a show at The
Museum of Modern Art for the “Life of the City” exhibit in 2001.
Their “Cuba Waits” series was exhibited at Wesley A. Waage Fine Arts Center in Fergus Falls, MN, and at the Kwan Fong Gallery at California Lutheran University in Los Angeles, and the “Glimpses of India” series was shown at Gallery 49 in New York.
His “Syrian Refuge” series was exhibited in a solo show at High Line Nine Gallery in New York in September, 2020, at the Oculus in New York as part of the MVVO Ad Art Show in 2021, as part
of Zeke Magazine documentary show at Bridge Gallery in 2022, and in a solo show at Kaddatz
Galleries in Fergus Falls, MN in 2022.
His editorial photography has appeared in 100+ pages in international publications based in
Berlin, London, Amsterdam, and Tokyo.
In 2008 Waage traveled to Beirut, Lebanon and later to Syria, before the start of the war. He returned to Beirut many times over the next ten+ years as he worked on the “Syrian Refuge” series.
The series was personally reviewed by Magnum photographer Bruce Davidson.
Working with Keith Ketwaroo, Waage produced “Liminal Dream,” a video art piece filmed inside of an installation by Argentinian artist Leandro Erlich at the Perez Art Museum, Miami.
“Liminal Dream” was presented at Fridge Art in Miami in 2023, and at Fridge Art New York in 2024.

Chris Cobb
Co-Director/Special Projects
Chris Cobb is an interdisciplinary artist and writer based in Brooklyn. He has worked at SFMOMA, MASSMOCA and has written for the Believer Magazine, Flash Art, ArtWeek, SFMOMA's Open Space, Hyperallergic and many other publications. He also is a member of the Gloster Arts Project which produces a summer arts camp for children in rural Mississippi each year.

Deb is an award-winning leader and has spent over 20 years in global entertainment media working on brands such Cartoon Network, Adult Swim, Rebel Girls, NBA, PGA, NASCAR and CNN. Her expansive experience includes branding, marketing, graphic design and fine art.

Phoenix Roberts
Project Director/Artist Liaison/Curator
Phoenix Roberts is Fridge Art Fair's resident cheeleader. Born and raised in St. Paul, Minnesota, she moved to and was molded by the Lower East Side of Manhattan in the 1990s and 2000s. She has been a painter her whole life but had her debut as an artist with The Fridge Art Fair during Miami Art Week in 2018 at the Langford Hotel - Downtown Miami. Phoenix continues to exibit and work with Fridge Art Fair every year in NYC and Miami. She currently resides in St. Paul, MN and has had two Solo Exhibitions in the Twin Cities. Phoenix also is a member of the St. Paul Art Collective and shows with the St. Paul Art Crawl Fall and Spring editions, currently has a permanent residence and gallery installation with Creative Mpls. Downtown Minneapolis. Phoenix is a pronounced Warrior of the Light and touching the Souls through Art is her way of reminding the Souls – You Are Love.

Kaitlin Martin
Co-Director/Curator
Kaitlin is a multidisciplinary artist currently living and working in Miami after many years in NYC. In 2013, she co-curated the original Fridge Art Fair at Gallery Onetwentyeight and the Inagural Miami Art Week Edition at PAX Miami. She recently returned to work on 10th Anniversay Rainbow Popsicle Edition in December 2023 and is part of the Miami team. Kaitlin wears many hats at Fridge, including Social Media and Marketing Consultant, Fridge Archivist & VIP Relations.
